A
County Durham motorist has won a year’s free car insurance after becoming
premium finance specialist Finsure’s one millionth customer.
John Wennington from Darlington was presented with his free motor insurance by Finsure’s Craig Leathley last week at the offices of broker BiB.
Nick Elliman, Head of Business Development at Finsure, commented: “Reaching one million customers during a year which has seen significant growth for Finsure, is a great achievement. We’re delighted to be able to reward one of our customers who has helped us reach this landmark. Our challenge now will be to keep building profitable relationships with brokers in order to reach our two millionth customer.”
Prize winner Mr Wennington commented: “I’ve been a BiB customer for four years and when they told me I was the millionth customer I thought it was a wind-up. We’ve had a lot of bad luck this year because we lost a lot of money in the collapse of Farepak so getting my insurance free right before Christmas is brilliant. Thanks to BiB for getting me the quote in the first place and Finsure for the prize.”
Finsure was established in 1996 and is owned by broker-only insurer NIG,
part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. It provides premium finance for
both personal and commercial lines.
